PCI Software Security Framework (S3) Validation

As global payment systems evolve, the PCI SSC continues to expand their programs for securing the payment transaction and data. Payment software security has changed significantly since the inception of the PA-DSS standard. The changes over the years have resulted in an innovative approach to securing the PCI infrastructure. To address all the growing threats and challenges, PCI SSC has adopted the PCI Security Framework (or S3 for short) which replaces the older PA-DSS. CSFi is already underway in our efforts to complete the new standard and expects to complete this requirement in 2024. For customers running older versions of SWITCHWARE, they will remain covered under the original PA-DSS validation. New and existing customers who move forward with new installs of SWITCHWARE should obtain the latest version validated under the S3 Framework audit.
